Sam is a multi award winning director, writer and producer. He is the Founder and Co-Artistic Director of Chalk Line Theatre company, who he has toured work with nationally and internationally. Chalk Line is a Graduate Emerging Company of The New Diorama and an Associate Company of Next Generation Youth Theatre.

 

Sam was previously the Resident Assistant Director at The Hampstead Theatre, Resident Assistant Director at RADA, Artist Support Producer at Camden People's Theatre and sat on the board of Tangled Feet.

 

Sam has won the Best New Writing Award at the New Besties 2024, Untapped Award 2022, London Pub Theatres Standing Ovation Award 2021, Best International Achievement Award Arts Council Malta 2021 and the COMMON Award 2020.

 

Sam's play The Chaos That Has Been and Will No Doubt Return was recently in the top 1% of BBC open submissions and is published with Playdead Press.

He is a reader for the Bruntwood Playwriting Prize and read for The Phoebe Frances Brown Award.
